Improve yourself...and others...
The Course offers self-improvement and enlightenment to anyone who
has the interest to pursue same. Your reasons for taking the Course
are private to you, and they need not be disclosed. Should you find
the thought of "required reading", the "Test Exercises"
and "Final Exam" all rather daunting, you need have no concern;
it is perfectly acceptable for you to enroll on the course and not
return the interim Test Exercises or Final Exam Paper. Under those

who knows, at some later date you may well change your mind and have

Distance learning programme
In a Distance Learning format, the Course is of approximately six
months duration. Usually every two weeks during that time, learning
material (both written and on cd) will be dispatched to you. There
are also some "required reading" books to be studied. The course is
supplemented by optional one-day seminars and also Instructional Weekends
in the UK, which Students may attend if they wish. Click on the links
in the left column for finer details. Hypnotherapy in the United Kingdom,
is not the subject of specific legislation, so there are no formal
qualifications which can be obtained. Neither is there a Statutory
Register of Hypnotherapists. However, subject to your satisfactory
performance in a postal examination at the end of the Course, you
will be awarded a DIPLOMA IN HYPNOTHERAPY.
Neil French - Course Author
Neil commenced his hypnotherapy career in 1974. He wrote the Successful
Hypnotherapy Diploma Course in 1981, after having amassed sufficient
clinical experience to be able to impart his knowledge and expertise
to others. He is a published author on the subject of hypnosis, hypnotherapy
and hypno-analysis and an experienced radio and television broadcaster.
Although now retired, Neil is internationally recognised as a leading
exponent of modern hypnotherapy, and the 'father' of Hypnoanalysis.
Neil came out of retirement in 2005 to lecture to a packed audience
at the IAPH 20th Annual Conference, in Coventry.
Rob Kelly - Course Director
Rob undertook the 'Successful Hypnotherapy Diploma Course's' with
Neil French, back in 1988, and opened his own full-time practice (see
www.rob-kelly.net) in 1990. Though the essential components of the
training course haven't changed much since Neil created it in 1981,
Rob has updated and expanded other areas of the course bringing in
his own very specialised knoweledge, such as: forensic hypnosis, sexual
abuse and sexual offending, resolving emotional trauma, smoking cessation
and peoples' unconscious motivations for, amongst other things, committing
crime. Rob has a huge wealth of clinical experience after taking
more than 3000 people through therapy.
Rob
still has a thriving clinincal practice in Cambridge, and spreads
his life between treating clients/patients, organising and lecturing-on
training courses and workshops, providing consultancy services to
organisations like the Police, the probation service, social service
departments, and the media.
